Art

This week in art we have been learning about pointillism and have looked at the work of Georges Seurat. We had a go at creating our very own fruit pictures using the pointillism technique. I think Seurat himself would be very impressed!

We have been reading Pirates Love Underpants in english and written some fabulous letters in a bottle. We have also been doing some tricky work on our doubles in maths too. Well done Year 1 on another fantastic week, keep it up!

Week 3

Well done Year 1 on another fantastic week! We have working on in subtraction skills in maths this week and came up with our own first, next and now number stories. We have been looking at The Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister too and acted out a retelling of the story. Great work Year 1!
