AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS

We promote and encourage a healthy and active lifestyle at St Cuthbert’s and part of this is offering a wide range of clubs throughout the year to involve as many of our pupils as we can in extra-curricular activities.

This term after school sports clubs are:

Monday – KS2 Girls’ netball
Tuesday
Wednesday – dodgeball for Y3&4
Thursday – dance club for Y5&6
Friday – Gymnastics with Francesca Scarr

Many of our pupils enjoy competing with local sports teams who are always willing to welcome new members. These include:

All Stars Cricket

SCHOOL SPORT CREW

Our sports crew help to organise games and events in school and report on the latest goings on.  We hope you enjoy reading their reports about sporting events and about clubs that our pupils attend.

INVESTING IN TEACHING & LEARNING

We spend a large portion of our Sport Premium on Easington Sports Partnership and work with their staff to develop teacher expertise and help prepare our pupils for competitions.

This half term will be as follows.

Mrs Hall will be supporting:

  • Cross Country running with Year 5 & 6
  • Netball in KS2 through an after school club
  • Games in Year 4 with Mrs Fitzpatrick

John Appleby will be supporting:

  • Rugby in Year 5 with Mr Boyle
  • Multiskills in Reception Class with Mrs Groark
