Parents
At St Cuthbert’s Primary we are committed to a respectful, communicative and mutually supportive relationship between parents and staff.
As a partnership, our parents will understand the importance of a good working relationship to equip children with the necessary skills for adulthood. For these reasons we continue to welcome and encourage parents/carers to participate fully in the life of our school.
You can find our guide which outlines the rules that apply to all parents and carers in our school here.
Attendance
Good attendance is key to your child being able to fulfil their potential and make good progress in school. One of the most important ways a parent can support the education of their child and ensure the child’s social, emotional and academic development is to ensure they attend every day and on time. 95% attendance is regarded as the minimum acceptable level of attendance. At St. Cuthbert’s we strive for every child to achieve a minimum of 96% attendance.
