Spooky Day 2020

Year 6 looked fantastic today in their halloween costumes. A day filled with spooky activities from art in the local graveyard, to finishing off our spooky Alma stories, re-creating famous halloween songs on the boomwhackers and learning about the history of halloween.

Multiplication fun!

Year 6 have enjoyed a morning revising their short multiplication method by using a dice to roll their own calculations. They found this was a good way of finding out which multiplication facts they are confident with and which ones they need to keep practising.

Frida Kahlo

Year 6 are enjoying learning about Frida Kahlo and have worked well using different mediums to recreate some of her famous self portraits.
