Music with Mr Robinson

Year 6 have enjoyed having Mr Robinson from St.Bede’s in every fortnight to teach music. This half term we have been learning a song called “siyahamba” which once the children were able to get the hang of saying were able to sing in a round with harmonies and even use their knowledge to adapt the song to new lyrics.

Busy, Busy, School Council

The school Council have been extremely busy this afternoon looking at all of the ideas they gathered from the parent questionnaires. We looked at all of the suggestions and ranked them in order of what they, as children, could have an impact on. From this the children are going to choose one issue to tackle.
