Launching the Big Walk for Lent
Today we were visited by CAFOD who reminded us about all the important work they do and help us launch our “Big walk for Lent.” We looked at how helping during lent links with stewardship and participation – Gospel values we enjoy living out at St.Cuthbert’s!
We took part in this before and as a whole school were very successful raising money for this great cause during Lent since Lent is an important time for giving.
A link for the just giving page will be posted when we return after half term if you would like to make a donation to CAFOD or sponsor your child on their mission this Lent. Everyday in school our children will walk and it will be recorded. The total kilometres walked each week will be updated to the CAFOD tracker.
