Today we are finishing our work on fractions. If you are working on the turquoise sheet, you are counting in fractions. If you are working on the orange sheet, you are subtracting fractions.

Remember to go on timestable rockstars. How well are you doing?

Are you having a VE celebration tomorrow? Today I would like you to design and make invitations for a VE Day party or tea. Think about what you need to add so your guests (remember it can only be your own family members) know when it is, where it is, what it is for etc. Who can design the best invitation?

 

Spend some time reading. You could also go on spelling shed. Let me know how you are getting on.

 

VE Day activities

• 190 countries were eventually involved in WWII. How many can you name? You will need a grown up to help you.
• Find out about games children played during WWII. Do we play similar games now? Perhaps you could play a game outside or adapt a game with a VE Day twist.
• If you are having a party tomorrow, do you need to make some of the party food today? Help your grown up to prepare party food.
