Monday 11th May

Today would have been the start of SATs week!

You all worked very hard to ensure you had the knowledge and skills to be fully prepared for them.

I am certain, if you had to sit them, you would have all achieved the scores you deserved! But we don’t need tests to tell us how amazing you all are. We are very proud of each and everyone of you.

To mark the occasion, today, listen out for a knock on your door …

But in the spirit of SATs week, your tasks are going to be given as if it was SATs weekFirst, I would like you to get up, have a good breakfast.

Today it would have been your SPAG test.

45 minutes carrying out a SPAG test followed by 15 minutes of spellings.

Please complete the SPAG and spelling tasks attached (not tests). Remember if you are finished before the 45 minutes you have set yourself is up, check your work. If you don’t get finished in the 45 minutes, that is fine, as along as you have tried your best J

If this was SATs week, after this we would have spent some time preparing for tomorrow’s test which would be reading. Please spend around 30 minutes on reading plus.

These were the only tasks set out for you today. You now have the rest of the day to yourself to carry out tasks you would enjoy doing to help you relax – art, exercise, cookery, reading, computing etc.

Remember there are Rights Respecting and Science tasks on the school website which give activities which could be fun to complete!
