Friday 22nd May

Fun Friday is back! You have completed another week of learning from home and I am very impressed with the quality of work I have received.

To begin with, I would like you to look at the maths task I have attached. Last week was national numeracy day and I would like you to try one of the activities from the attached task. Maths Friday

Then for English, let’s have a last push to get our weekly target for reading plus, if we all do our tasks we should reach it!

I have looked at the vocabulary tasks you have been completing and I have taken some of the words people have been misunderstanding. I would like you to choose 10 of the words from the sheet and use the word in a sentence (try not to write 10 simple sentences, remember to use punctuation or conjunctions.)

For RE today I would like you to revisit the key vocabulary associated with the anointing of the sick and ensure you know what the words means and reflect on your learning.

There is a BBC Bitesize music task which could be fun that I would like you to attempt https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/tags/zncsscw/year-6-and-p7-lessons/1

As well as one more rights respecting task.

Once this is complete, what fun activities are you going to do? Go outside and get fresh air? Board games? Art? Cookery? Time on games consoles? Spending time chatting with the family? Watch a movie?

Have a good weekend year 6!
