Good morning year 1, another week has flown by!

In maths today we are going to continue with our 3-D shapes. This activity requires us to look at the shapes and sort them by their properties. How many sides does it have? How many faces does it have? The link to the worksheet can be found on google classroom.

Also have a go at your weekly arithmetic activity. How many did you score this week?

Today I’d like you to listen to Jesse Lingard read the story Attack of the demon dinner ladies by Pamela Butchart. I’d like you to listen carefully and then read the extract with your adults and answer the comprehension questions for activity 1 and 2.

Its Friday again and you’ve worked so hard all week, I think you definitely deserve some well earned golden time in the sunshine today! Play a sport, run around have a water fight, whatever you like!

As its half term next week, I won’t be assigning you any home learning activities, and I hope you all have a wonderful relaxing week!
