Friday 15th May

Friday 15th May

Good morning. How are you all today? I can’t believe it’s Friday again. Let’s hope we have some nice weather at the weekend so we can spend some time out in the sunshine. Let me know what your plans are if you have any. Sometimes it’s just nice to spend time in the garden reading or having some quiet time.

Today we are continuing with White Rose home learning. The link you need is https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-3/

The week you need is Summer Term week 4 (w/c 11th May). Today we are on to lesson 4, multiplication and division problem solving. Watch the video then complete the worksheets I have attached. If you want to do extra you could also do the Friday challenge.

If you need to do the turquoise sheets, I would like you to go Year 2 home learning page for Summer week 4 lesson 4 which is bonds to 100. I have also added the worksheets for this. You might also want to do the Friday challenge

Don’t forget you can do BBC Bitesize if you want extra work.

You could also continue with Timestables Rock Stars.

English

Continue with BBC Bitesize. The link for BBC Bitesize is https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/dailylessons

Today’s reading is Charlie Changes into a Chicken by Sam Copeland. There are 3 activities. Try all 3 if you can. It will really help you to focus on the text.

If you have been practising you spellings, ask a grown up to give you a spelling test. Let me know how you get on.

Golden Time

Play board games. Make up your own board game.

Have some active time outside. Can you make your own obstacle course?

Do some baking.

Have a pamper afternoon.

Find a quiet corner and read a book.

Watch your favourite film.

Help a grown up in the house or garden.

You choose what you would like to do. Take photographs and upload them onto Google classroom. I love to see what you have been up to. Most of all, have a lovely afternoon. Once you have done your maths and English of course!
