Year 6 enjoyed a virtual visit to Beamish from home and at school to explore the life of an evacuee. We looked at propaganda used to encourage parents to keep their children safe and warnings from the Home Guard about the importance of blackouts and shelters. Year 6 asked a lot of really useful questions to further their learning.
