Year 6 Vegetable Curry

After learning about the origins of the traditional curry and food hygiene in DT, year 6 helped to prepare a vegetable korma.

The children took responsibility to ensure all surfaces were cleaned before and after use and there was regular hand washing throughout- especially after cutting onions.

They cut, peeled, crushed, stirred and seasoned all in preparation for tasting tomorrow.

It was all put in slow cookers ready to add the yoghurt to thicken and a sprinkle of coriander before tasting tomorrow with rice.
