St. Cuthbert's Primary School Seaham
Another amazing day thanks to Adventure Access. Today we were along the beautiful Durham Riverside where we took part in canoeing and rock climbing.
Canoeing
Along the riverside we worked in teams canoe up the river where we stopped to play some games. We all got very competitive playing battleships and tested our balance when playing the fruit game which required us to move to another canoe whilst still on the water.
Cooling down
After a very hot day we couldn’t think of a better way to cool down than to jump from our canoes into the river!
Rock Climbing
The children had great fun rock climbing. It was great watching their confidence grow as they challenged themselves to go higher and higher and even race each other to get to the top.
