Year 2 Comic Relief

It’s been all fun and games in Year 2 today. We came to school dressed in bright colours and spent the day finding out about how this year, the event is focusing on supporting those in need during the current living crisis. We spent some time talking about our Catholic Social Teaching animals and their principles, with an emphasis on Shristi the Sun Bear, who teaches us to show how we care through solidarity.

As well as finding out about where the money we donate goes, we also had lots of fun. We designed a funny nose, a funny face and told each other our favourite jokes. When we went outside to do our Lent walk, we thought of funny ways to move around the yard.

We have all had a fantastic day!
