We are continuing work with fractions today.

If you are working from the turquoise sheet, you will be learning about Equivalence of ½ and 2/4.

If you are working from the orange sheet, you will be learning to compare fractions. Don’t forget to return your work so I can see how you are managing.

Remember! Work will be on Google classroom due to copyright laws.

We are continuing our VE Day related theme.

Today I would like you to look at a photograph of a special day. It was taken a long time ago in May 1945. Can you use the clues and answer the questions to find out why it was a special day?

 

Remember to log onto Reading Plus and Spelling Shed.

 

 

VE Day challenge

• During WWII 20 million people died as a result of malnutrition, compared with the 19.5 million who died in combat. Find out about healthy eating and draw your own balanced meal. Perhaps you can make it if you have the ingredients in your house.
• Find out about other foods that would have been popular in WWII and served at VE Day street parties up and down the country.

 

You could also continue with the craft challenges you were given yesterday.
