Can you find some examples of fiction books (story books) and non-fiction books (information books) in your house and sort them into piles?

What features do your story books have?  (colourful pictures, heroic characters, princesses, monsters etc)

What features do your none fiction books have? (contents page, photographs, captions, index page, glossary)

 

 

 

 

Go on a 3-D shape hunt around your house. See if you can find objects in your house which are the following shapes:

Cube

Cuboid

Sphere

Cylinder

Triangular prism
