St. Cuthbert's Catholic Primary School Seaham
Reception class have been learning all about night and day. We have now moved owe have been learning all about shadows. This morning, we went to the big yard and we drew around our friend’s shadow. Then after lunch we went back to the yard to see if our shadows looked the same. We noticed thatthey had changed. We talked about why this happens.
We also traced the shadows of toy animals which we really enjoyed.
Inside, we cut out silhouette shadows of things to do with space. We then made shadow puppets. We used torches to act as the sun and made shadows.
