Year 2 – Seaham Beach

On Wednesday the Year 2 children visited Seaham promenade, marina and beach. We had a lovely day despite the little bit of rain. We enjoyed an ice-cream from Nicy Icy and took part in a sandcastle competition. The children were very well behaved and we had a lovely day.

On Friday we had our Liturgy. Dance Festival Showcase 2015

The event was organised by Easington Schools Sports Partnership who ran the event over 2 days, there was just over 80 performances from Primary and Secondary Schools. In year 2 we have been learning all about China.  At the end of our topic, we enjoyed taking part in a Chinese school day.  We completed Chinese maths, crafts and enjoyed a Chinese restaurant in our class.  We had lots of fun.
