Our Y4 children have been baking biscuits again this afternoon. They were able to weigh out ingredients, prepare and roll out the dough and then cut and shape their biscuits. During our Science lesson, the children in Year 1 identified their 5 senses. They went for a walk around the school to find different things they could see, hear and touch. We all had lots of fun trying to find the different things on our checklist.

The children in Year 1 compared objects using the language greater than, less than and equal to and the symbols <,> and =. The Year 1 classroom had different objects on each table and the children had to make their way around each table and compare the objects.

From Plot to Pot Year 5 loved getting into the allotment today. On Monday, Y4 began their cookery DT topic with some biscuit tasting. We discussed the different tastes, textures, ingredients and packaging that the biscuits came in.
