St. Cuthbert's Primary School Seaham
Our footballers were in action tonight against Ropery Walk for a league fixture at St. Cuthbert’s.
The A Team played first and were on spectacular form. The match finished 6-0 to St. Cuthbert’s with goals coming from Kane, River and Oscar and Jack completed the win with a hat trick! There was also some excellent defending from Freddie and Ben and Thomas pulled off some brilliant saves. An excellent display of skills, sportsmanship and teamwork made us extremely proud of them tonight. Jack was awarded Man of the Match for his fantastic achievement.
The B Team played their first match as a team and were outstanding. They pushed hard at their opponents and were awarded with a 3 – 0 win. Goals came from team captain Finley and Dominic scored two! Man of the Match was given to Dominic who was attacking fiercely and showed great skill. Keeper Roman was on form and made some cracking saves. Excellent teamwork and sporting values were shown by all and we could not be prouder of the team. A great start to the season!
