St. Cuthbert's Primary School Seaham
The theme for anti-bullying week 2019 was “Change starts with us.”
The children explored this theme in more detail in their classes and linked it to their rights.
Over the week the children carried out a variety of activities from discussing and acting out scenarios regarding bullying and behaviours to designing posters to raise awareness and exploring friendships through poetry.
In our House Groups we looked at how we deal with bullying and bad behaviour as a school as some children had questions around consequences of bad behaviour and what happens during reflection time with Mrs Parlett or Mrs Noble. Following this session, the children said they did feel more confident in explaining how the school deals with bullying and bad behaviour.
