Year 6 have enjoyed having Mr Robinson from St.Bede’s in every fortnight to teach music. This half term we have been learning a song called “siyahamba” which once the children were able to get the hang of saying were able to sing in a round with harmonies and even use their knowledge to adapt the song to new lyrics.

Our JRSO’s launched a competition last week to support the topic of staying safe during the dark nights. They were blown away by the entries and are having a hard time choosing the winners. The winners will be announced during Friday’s assembly.

The school Council have been extremely busy this afternoon looking at all of the ideas they gathered from the parent questionnaires. We looked at all of the suggestions and ranked them in order of what they, as children, could have an impact on. From this the children are going to choose one issue to tackle.
