In Science, Reception class enjoyed making rockets. They were investigating forces as part of their Science topic. They had great fun trying to see who’s rocket would travel the furthest. We tested them inside and outside to see how that made the rockets move.

Children used google maps, maps and an atlas to trace the journey of a river. We recorded the name of the river, its source, places it passes through, any features such as waterfalls, reservoirs and the place where the river meets the sea. Article 29 Children’s education should help them to develop their abilities.

We visited church  to make a  prayer pilgrimage through the stations of the cross to help us to grow  closer to Jesus  during Lent.  We heard the different parts from the story at each station, said prayers and  asked God to  help us to be better follows of Jesus. Well done to our Y6 children who attended the basketball tournament today. They played brilliantly, worked very well as a team and demonstrated excellent sporting values. They finished in 3rd place so we are very proud of them.
