In Science, Reception class enjoyed making rockets. They were investigating forces as part of their Science topic. They had great fun trying to see who’s rocket would travel the furthest. We tested them inside and outside to see how that made the rockets move.

Children used google maps, maps and an atlas to trace the journey of a river. We recorded the name of the river, its source, places it passes through, any features such as waterfalls, reservoirs and the place where the river meets the sea.
