An amazing discovery!

Jack and Isaac from Year 6 had been playing in the school grounds earlier this week and uncovered a real coin dating back to 1913. It was amazing to see the size of the coin and the King’s head which was on one side of it. This coin had been hidden in the mud for many years.
Jack and Isaac had both showed great enthusiasm when learning about the Great Wars in History this year so unearthing a piece of history was a real bonus for the boys!
