Year 3 – Culture Week

Year 3 spent Culture Week exploring the British Culture. To celebrate the end of a  good week  they led the school assembly and then made many batches of scones! Children invited family members to join them for a celebration with tea and scones. Everyone seemed to enjoy this get together and left school happy and full!

Year 6 went to youth village on 17th June and it was in Consett. We sang songs and did activities to do with transforming because this years theme was Transform. we took photos of us being transformed and had powers to change the world. Year 2 – Seaham Beach

On Wednesday the Year 2 children visited Seaham promenade, marina and beach. We had a lovely day despite the little bit of rain. We enjoyed an ice-cream from Nicy Icy and took part in a sandcastle competition. The children were very well behaved and we had a lovely day.

Dance Festival Showcase 2015

The event was organised by Easington Schools Sports Partnership who ran the event over 2 days, there was just over 80 performances from Primary and Secondary Schools. China – Year 2

In year 2 we have been learning all about China.  At the end of our topic, we enjoyed taking part in a Chinese school day.  We completed Chinese maths, crafts and enjoyed a Chinese restaurant in our class.  We had lots of fun.
