Today, 18 children from year 5 and 6 attended ESSP Sportshall Athletics competition at East Durham College. The children performed both track and field events and many came first in their heat. This week, Lennon and Jake were noticed by Miss Scarr for demonstrating exceptional qualities of friendship, teamwork and inclusivity. After a lovely half term break, OPAL play is back in full swing this week and the children have thoroughly enjoyed using the wheelie boards at playtime.
