Morning Year 2, I hope that you have all had a fabulous weekend with your families.

In maths this week we will be revisiting multiplication. If you sit at red, blue or green table for your maths then I would like you to work from White Rose maths. You will be working on Summer week 5, Lesson 1, multiplication. The videos are in the usual place https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-2/ but the worksheets aren’t so I have added these to the google classroom.
If you work on orange or yellow table for maths then I would like you today to access the work from BBC Bitesize.https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/zhchscw I would like you to watch the video and then to complete activity 1.

In English today we will be thinking about homophones. We will use BBC Bitesize. https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/z7g8jhv. Watch the video and complete activities one. I have added some activities on the google classroom, choose one or two to have a go at.

This week we are going to be completing some geography and we are going to be thinking about hot and clothes places.
Today I would like you to remind yourselves of the different continents. Sing the song with your familyhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K6DSMZ8b3LE and then have a go at labelling the map. If you don’t have a printer that is fine, just point to each of the continents and tell your grown up its name.
