Tuesday 2nd June

Today in maths we will be thinking about sharing. We are working on Summer Week 6, lesson 2. https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-2/I would like red, blue and green maths tables to complete all of the questions and orange and yellow maths table to complete questions 1 and 2.
If you would like more practice, then head over to today’s BBC Bitesize where there are a couple of nice interactive activities.

English
Yesterday, we read some information all about polar bears and penguins and answered some questions. Today, I would like you to use what you have learnt and any other information that you may know to write five facts about each of the animals I would like you to use conjunctions in your facts (and, but, so, because, if, when)

Geography- Yesterday we were thinking about the coldest places on Earth. Today, we will be looking at the some of the hottest places on Earth. Look carefully at a world map. Find the Equator and then first of all look to see which continents the Equator runs through and then some of the countries.

Have a lovely day xxx
