Fun Friday

What a busy week we have had. I think you will all need a good rest this weekend after all of the sports challenges you have completed this week. Well done to you all for taking part it looks like you all had lots of fun. Our last worm day today. I have included a white worm today for you to decorate. I hope you have checked on the worms you have collected earlier on in the week. I wonder if they have mixed up your soil and the sand. Gardeners love worms because they are helpful to have in the garden so you might want to release your worms back to the garden over the weekend.

Before you release your worms you could make instructions of how to make a wormery in case you want to make one again. I’ve included a sheet for you to cut the pictures out and put them in the correct sequence. If you don’t have a printer you could draw your own pictures and write some sentences to explain how you made your wormery.

We are doing lots of measuring with worms today. I have included a sheet where you can cut out the worm rulers to measure the objects on the sheet with the gardening equipment. If you don’t have a printer you could use some string or wool and ask your grown up to cut out different lengths. You can then try to find objects that measure the same as the different pieces of string.

Your last sports day challenge is keep ups and design an obstacle race. i am really looking forward to seeing some of your ideas for an obstacle race.
