We were all so proud of our Reception Class today. Despite all of the many illnesses they managed to all be in school today to perform their Nativity play for their grown ups in church. They spoke with confidence and sang and danced with lots of enthusiasm. Well done Reception Class.

Reception Class enjoyed their first after school story club. The story we were looking at this week was Elmer. We watched an Elmer story and were then set the task of making our own Elmer with a new coat. Everyone worked so well designing a new coat for Elmer.Lots of interesting Elmers went home.

On Thursday, KS1 children enjoyed a jam packed afternoon of dancing with Sophie from the Easington School Sports Partnership. The children were given opportunities to take part in a wide range of dance styles along with using a variety of dance props. Glow sticks and disco lights added to the party atmosphere.

Some pumpkins were delivered to our class. We had lots of fun working in teams, designing a face for our pumpkin and then carving out the flesh and seeds. We tried to make the same face as our pumpkin.

Reception had such a lovely afternoon when Sophie a dance teacher came to work with us. We used glow sticks, ribbons and pom poms to dance with. We also used the parachute to help us to listen and follow instructions. Thank you Sophie we had a super dancing time.
