Today we started our new science topic Rocks and Fossils.
Our first lesson was ‘The Hard Rock Challenge’. We had to study a rock sample then describe how it felt, what it looked like, its colour and so on. We then had to work out the name of the rock by our observations.
We had a lot of fun using the magnifying glasses and discussing the different types of rocks.
A super start to our topic Year 3. Well done!
