A week of worms!!!

Welcome back to a new week. I hope you had a lovely weekend and managed to enjoy it despite the rain.We have got an exciting week ahead. If school was open it would have been our sports week so Mr Boyle and Mrs Parlett have set you some challenges to take part in. On sports day in school you would have worn a t-shirt in your house group colour. I have included a sheet to remind you what house group you are in and your house group colour. Todays challenge is speed bounce and skipping. Good luck – remember you can gain points for your house group if you send me a photograph.

Most of our work this week is all about worms!!! I remember that lots of you used to love digging for worms. Our work is based on the story of Superworm. As always there are some fun activities on our Whiterose maths site and hopefully you will enjoy the extra activities I am going to give you. Today you need to collect some worms to have a good look at and then think about what special powers your worm might have. Each day I am giving you some worm writing to help with your formation. If you don’t have a printer then you can copy the patterns on a piece of paper.

Happy worm hunting, I’m really looking forward to seeing some wonderful worm photographs.

Have fun xxx
