Hi year 4,

Hope you have all had a good weekend especially the good weather we have had!

Today’s activities will include:

White Rose Maths – Lesson 1 – Pounds and pence – revision.

Also, take some time to do ‘Times Tables Me’ this week and record the time it takes to complete the 20 or 40 questions you would be choosing if you were in school.

English – Please choose from the following: BBC Bitesize Comprehension

This lesson includes one video to explain what ‘comprehension’ means, one audio clip of the fable The Hare and the Tortoise and three activities. When you read a text and show you understand it by answering questions, this is called comprehension. You use comprehension skills all the time in everyday life. For example, when you work out what a sign means, watch a film or listen to a podcast. You often need to link together facts and clues to properly comprehend (understand) what’s happening in a text.

or you could choose:

Reading Plus and Spelling Shed If you have trouble logging on myself and Mr Graham are in school today and will be able to help you. Just get in touch on Google Classroom!

History: Anglo-Saxons Label the features of an Anglo-Saxon Village. Cut and stick the labels around the image of an Anglo-Saxon village. or History challenges – have a go at some more of the challenges I have sent. Record your work in your learning log.

Try your best with the activities but not to worry if you struggle just leave it and do something else that you can manage. I continue to want you to be happy and healthy first.

If I can help at all please get in touch.

Once again, I’m looking forward to the fruits of your hard work.

Love Mrs E xxx
