Year 6 Remembrance Day Collective Prayer

Year 6 delivered a wonderful collective prayer to the whole school and their families on Friday, reminding us why November 11th is remembrance day, what we remember and why we remember, reading from John’s Gospel and observing a quiet meditation and 2 minute silence.

“Go home and tell them of us and say, for your tomorrow we gave our today.”

*please note this collective prayer lasted 20 minutes and has been edited to share with you all. Videos of life in the trenches, the poem ‘Flanders Field’ and the 2 minutes silence was edited from the video in order to share it with you all. The full video is available upon request*

Donations were collected after. All donations from our Poppy appeal go towards the British Legion. Thank you to all who donated this year.
