St. Cuthbert's Catholic Primary School Seaham
Due to the weather, we couldn’t do the activities that were planned but that didn’t stop the children from enjoying themselves.
We spent some time on the beach playing some team games and completing challenges. Using the skills we learnt yesterday, we built and started our own camp fires. Using Kelly Kettles, we were able to make some delicious hot chocolate. We collected some interesting rocks to examine under the micro camera when we returned to the activity centre.
After lunch, we got our wetsuits on and braved the sea. We enjoyed jumping over and through waves and had fun splashing each other.
To end the day, we walked up to Featherbed Cafe and enjoyed a delicious ice cream. We finally had a little bit of sunshine so we sat next to Tommy to eat our ice creams.
