Year 5 had their final session of the Mini Police Project today. We learnt all about anti-social behaviour and what we can do to avoid it. We also found out about the consequences for committing crimes and how we, at the age of ten, can be held accountable.
A discussion around crimes in the community helped us to play a game where we had to put our thumbs up or down to say if something was a crime or not. This helped us to understand who anti-social behaviour can impact.
We also thought about what a victim might look like and what an offender might look like. Through discussion, we found out the difference.
The Mini Police Project has been lots of fun and very informative. We will all be excellent role models in our local community to help keep ourselves and others safe.
