This term Year 3 are investigating whether the UK is the same everywhere. In today’s lesson we set up a map from memory exercise to help us observe physical features of the UK. Each group had to send one person at a time to look at the large map of the UK to find out where the key physical features are. They could look at the UK map for 30 seconds and remember where the particular physical feature was. They then had to go back to the group and add the feature to their group map. The groups had lots of fun trying to find rivers and hills although one or two places we had to check again as they appeared to have moved country.
