St. Cuthbert's Primary School Seaham
Last night, our A Team played in the final of the Harry Page Cup. We were up against a strong side from Seaview Primary School. The first half of the game was full of very near misses, excellent saves and lots of passing and tackling. By half time, the score was 0 – 0.
The second half started with a bang as Jude scored a brilliant goal! Nithishan and Roman defended well and Jake made some more excellent saves to prevent the opposition from scoring. It was Dominic’s turn to fire in a goal to bring the score line up to 2 -0. Finley made some magnificent runs up and down the pitch, crossing the ball into the box. After more shots, saves and passes, Evan managed to fire in another goal giving us a 3 -0 win!
It was a fabulous display of skills and sportsmanship and we were extremely proud of the way the team represented St. Cuthbert’s Catholic Primary School.
