Tuesday 21st April

Hello Year 3. I am in school today so will try to ring as many of you as I can to see how you are.

We are continuing maths and English from the BBC website. I hope you managed yesterday’s work. Continue with the geography I set for yesterday. If you managed to do it all, I have added more to Google classroom.

Try to read every day and spend some time on Timestable Rockstars.

Okay, let’s get started

Maths and English

For this week, I would like you to access the resources from the following link.

Just look at the work for Tuesday. For English we are identifying pronouns. There are 3 activities for you to do. Try to do them all. Like yesterday, if you write sentences using pronouns, you can take a picture and send it to me via Google classroom.

Maths

Today we are recognising place value. Have a go at the interactive activities then try the worksheet. I have put the worksheet into Google classroom for you. I have also added todays Flashback 4.

Geography.

Continue on from yesterday if you didn’t get finished. If you did, try this:

This will probably take a couple of days.

Choose two cities you found on the map yesterday. Compare both. You may want to think about questions such as how many people live in each city, what jobs are done there, how old the city is, what are the important buildings? Can you think of your own questions? You can either discuss what you have found with your grown up or write them down. I will add a worksheet if you want to use it.

Don’t forget to do some active time. Go outside if it is a nice day or you could go on Super Movers. We love a bit of Super Movers.
