Prehistoric medicine

Year 6 had great fun today learning about prehistoric medicine and the role of medicine men in tribes.
We foraged for our own ingredients to make remedies to treat our patients. The remedies are rather revolting but apparently effective…

Tribe 1 – impaled by a wild boar’s tusk while out hunting

Tribe 2 – a flint spear was removed from the cheek following an unsuccessful hunt

Tribe 3 – broken leg from falling into a ravine whilst out hunting.

Tribe 4 – stumbled down a cliff edge onto a ledge.
