St. Cuthbert's Catholic Primary School Seaham
As part of our DT work this term we were set the challenge of creating our own pasta sauce and comparing it to a shop bought sauce. Firstly, we tried the shop sauce which lots of us enjoyed. We then created our own. We decided to include carrots,onions,courgettes and garlic. We used the skills we learnt last year to prepare the vegetables. We had to peel, grate and chop our ingredients into very small pieces. Then we added tomatoes and created our own sauce. It was agreed that our freshly made sauce was just as good as the shop one if not better. We also discovered we had lots of future chefs in our class. Well done Year 4.
