Our Whole School Mass

It was lovely to gather together with friends, family, parishioners, Father Marc and Deacon Peter to mark the start of our new school year.

Zara in Reception class brought forward a Crucifix representing the prayer life of the school.
Isabelle in Y1 class took forward a Bible and placed it on the altar representing listening to the word of the Lord.
Emmett in Y2 brought forward an RE book representing our learning and knowledge.
Zara in Y3 brought forward a football representing the games that we play.
Holly in Y4 brought forward and art picture representing the creativity of each person in the school.
Bobbi in Y4 brought forward a circle of friends representing our friendships.
Isabella in Y5 brought forward a candle representing Jesus, the light of the world.
Joseph in Y5 brought forward a school badge, representing how grateful we are for the many gifts and blessing we receive through being part of a school community.
Finally, Sophie in Y6 brought forward a map of the world as a reminder that as members of the Body of Christ we are part of a much wider community.
