Y5 have been working on animal eyes in art. They tried lots of different techniques and created a final piece today using collage and oil pastels.

Y5 enjoyed meeting Santa today. They told Santa all about how good they had been this year and what they were hoping to get. They also promised to leave him some delicious treats and carrots for his reindeer on Christmas Eve.

Y4 were visited by Santa yesterday, they enjoyed asking questions, telling Santa what they wanted for Christmas and singing Christmas songs.

It was a relief to find out we had all made it onto the nice list this year!

It is always lovely to have buddy time but this one was special being able to exchange christmas cards we had made and do some christmas craft.

We have had a really fun week in Year 1. We had our Christmas party, where we danced and played lots of games. We have also had a special visit from Santa. We sang songs with him and told him one thing we would like for Christmas. He said that we were all on the nice list.

We had a fabulous time at our Christmas Party with our friends from Reception and Year 1. We played lots of games and there was lots of dancing!

We had a special visitor today! Santa said we are all on his good list, even Mrs Wilkinson and Mrs Dickinson!

Just a reminder that our Carol Service is tomorrow at 10 o’clock in church. Our new Friends of St Cuthbert’s group would love to see you for a cuppa and a mince pie afterwards.
