Monday 30th March

Morning Year 2. Well here we are, week 2! I hope you have all had a lovely weekend with your families. I have loved seeing your photographs that some of you have emailed me or put onto google classroom. It has been lovely to see so many smiley faces and some of your amazing rainbows! Remember to do as much school work as you can but make sure that you remember that sometimes our grown ups will have their work to do too!

Maths

We are going to continue looking at fractions again this week. Remember that each part must be equal. Today we will be looking at one third. This is one equal part out of three equal parts. Follow the link below and we are looking at day one from week 2. You will also find this week’s flashback four at the beginning of the little video.

English

Today I would like you to practise your spellings and put each of these into a sentence. You could also practise these on spelling shed.  This week’s spellings to learn are some of the words we often get mixed up on. Some of your sentences today could even be a question!

would

should

could

when

where

what

were

who

how

Don’t forget to have some active time today. The children who are still in school are loving their Jo wick’s workout. Remember this is live every day at 9am on his Youtube channel. However these are all available on his channel if you would prefer to be active later in the day!  My legs are still aching from last week’s!

Much Love to you all

Mrs Wilkinson xxx
