Mental Health Awareness – Article 24

Saturday 10th October was World Mental Health Day

Use some time this week to focus on your own mental health and wellbeing. Wellbeing should be a priority for adults as well as children especially with the uncertainty of the world at the moment. This week’s activities are designed to promote discussion and reflection around what contributes to positive mental health and overall wellbeing.

Remember the NSPCC and Childline are always available for you to speak to if you are unable to see a friend or your trusted adult to share your worries with.

If you are unsure of who your “trusted adult” could be, any adult in school would listen to you and try to help. One of their main roles as duty bearers is ensuring you are safe and well in school.

Check out their websites for more information about how they can help
