Friday 5th June

Well everyone, it’s Friday again and the end of another working week.

Today in maths I would like you to oractose your 2x, 5x and 10x tables. Practise chanting them and then ask your grown up to ask you some quick questions such as, ‘What is 4 times 5?’ just like we do in head to head challenge. Then I would like you to access BBC Bitesize and complete challenges 1, 2 and 3. https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/z8ppqfr

We will also be working from BBC Bitesize for English today and we will be thinking about the suffix -ly. Remember, many of our adverbs end in -ly E.g. slowly, quickly, happily etc. I would like you to complete activities 2 and 3.https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/zkt7xyc

Miss Huntley’s weekly science task this week linked to habitats. Maybe you might like to have a look at that. https://www.stcuthbertsprimary.com/home-learning-science-task/

As it is Friday, I would like you to do some crafts, baking, jigsaws or something else that you might enjoy. I think Sam and I may bake some cookies.

Thank you to you all for working so hard and to your grown ups fro helping you. I hope that you all have a lovely weekend. It would be lovely for you to add some pictures to the google classroom to show all of your friends what you have been up as I am sure that you are all missing each other. Don’t forget, you can then leave a comment on their pictures.

Take care,

Mrs Wilkinson xxx
