St. Cuthbert's Primary School Seaham
Both our A Team and our B Team were played last night in a league match against Ryhope Junior School.
The A Team played first. It was an exciting game from start to finish with our players demonstrating some excellent play and skills. The final score was 3 – 1 with Evan getting a hat-trick and Jake making some magnificent saves to keep the scoreline down. Man of the Match was a tough choice, it really could have been given to anyone. It was decided that Evan would have it due to his fantastic three goals. Well done boys!
The B Team were playing their first game together as a team and they did not disappoint. They were defensively very good and stopped most of the attacks from the other team getting through. Great work from all of the players secured a 3 – 0 win with Perseus getting the first goal to put us in front and Marcus following that up with two more to give us the win. Again, Man of the Match was a difficult choice but was awarded to Jake for his fabulous defending. It was an exciting and well played match, well done boys!
