Festival of Fun

Yesterday, three children from year 5 were selected to participate in a ‘Festival of Fun’ at Wellfield School. The event was hosted by Easington Sports Partnerships and a team of sports leaders from the school. The children engaged in a range of non-typical sports such as soft archery, seated volleyball, boccia and seated hockey. Each activity allowed them to further develop existing skills such as teamwork, co-ordination and problem solving.

At the end, they expressed that their favourite activities were the silent disco and cup stacking!
