Children’s Mental Health Week

This week is Children’s Mental Health Week.

We started our week with a Celebration of the Word with the theme of Busyness to Peace. Our reading was from Mark’s Gospel.

“In the morning, long before dawn, He got up and left the house, and went off to a lonely place and prayed there.”                 Mark 1: 35

Jesus’ life was very busy, but He found peace by going to a quiet place to pray and be with His Father. We too can find peace in the busyness of our daily lives. The children thought about a place that they could go and find some peace.

We would be very interested to see what families  are doing at home to get involved with Children’s Mental Health Week. Please email any pictures or descriptions to Mrs. Donnelly on the email address below if you want to share your ideas.
